The "Very Gay Raptor" is a real truck created by Ford in The company reportedly created the car in response to a social media post that referred to the "Performance Blue" color option on. “Very gay” is how one internet denizen described the new Ranger Raptor Special Edition pickup in a comment on a Ford Europe social media post. Ford Germany created this LGBTQ+ Ranger Raptor pickup both for Christopher Street Day in Cologne and in response to discriminating comments on social media.

The Very Gay Ranger Raptor is its response. Originally meant to be the standard Ford Performance Blue, things changed after someone posted that the color looked “very gay.” So Ford took it back and found a custom shop to paint the gold Alphafoil and rainbow stripes. When it was finished Ford called the pickup Very Gay Raptor. The Very Gay Raptor is a Ranger Raptor sporting Pride colors and a sparkly gold wrap.

Ford's European arm recently launched the Ranger Raptor Special Edition in a promo showing the pickup ripping. As the episode begins, Zayato and Javi find themselves surprised to see Izzy sporting a new and upbeat attitude — even having a friendly conversation with her long-time high school sports rival, Fern — as just last episode she had been scammed out of a significant amount of cash by a money-grubbing athletics coach.

Speculating as to the reason for her optimism, the pair eventually convince themselves that Izzy has a crush on Adrian, one of their fellow athletes, and proceed to set the pair up on a date. After uncovering his motivations and tracking him down, the team meet Slyther and fellow Void Knight minion Fogshell in battle, ultimately using the power of the T-Rex Blazing Megazord to force the pair into a hasty retreat.

In the aftermath of the battle, Javi apologizes to Izzy for setting her up with Adrian without her knowledge, promising to talk to her about any such plans in the future. As Javi turns to apologize to Adrian for the same, he notes that he still feels as if Izzy had a crush on someone.

Adrian then confirms to Javi that his suspicions were correct, pointing out that behind them, Izzy is walking and holding hands with Fern, her aforementioned rival. Though Izzy serves as the first canonical gay Ranger in the history of the television series, she is not the first LGBT Ranger in the franchise overall.
